20.01.2012 - Phase two begins!
This week, the first equipment of the second phase of the Room Booking system was installed in the Canterbury Probation Office.
This is the beginning of a county wide roll out to provide a single booking system that is accessible to all staff.
The system allows a room anywhere in the county to be booked from staffs computer desktops.
The bookings then displayed on large screens in each office's corridor, along with a touchscreen interface that allows a booking to be repeated without having to return to a computer.
